During lockdown, with no football, Accrington Stanley Supporters’ Trust has been running weekly charity draws with 50% of the income as first prize. Each week there has also been a second prize; I offered to do a painting of any club player as chosen by the winner. They chose to have me paint John Coleman, current manager and former player.
They sent me a photo they wanted a painting of and I felt it would be more suited to acrylics rather than oils, so this is it.
